The sound of the sea crashing to shore as the waves build to a crest and then fall again, rising to meet the next wall of water and the split second churning of waves as they furl and unfurl, crashing towards the sands.... never are two images ever the same. A split second in time captured on camera.

Some of these images are distinctly coastal waves, others appear to be art abstract in design. Certainly every image is unique....

Wave photography is a passion of mine, and I cannot resist standing on a beach just taking images of waves in all their guises with different effects due to sunlight, seasons and weather conditions... always trying to capture that special 'moment in time'.
